The ideal candidate should have recent practice experience and be a flexible/willing all-rounder to become an integral part of our Accounts Team.

The role will include:

  • Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT Returns, management accounts
  • Assisting with the firm’s payroll bureau – including processing payrolls, auto-enrolment and CIS submissions, as required
  • Accounts preparation work for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • Preparing Tax Returns
  • Dealing with clients
  • Assisting junior members of staff

Essential requirements are:

  • AAT qualified
  • Good working knowledge of software such as Sage and Quickbooks
  • Confident communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must have a professional approach and be happy to work as part of a small team

Desirable requirements are:

  • 2-3 years post qualification experience
  • Recent experience in operating payroll/auto enrolment services and CIS submissions

Hours: Full time (preferred) or part time will be considered – permanent
